What to put kids in when it's warm?

We went skiing at half term last year, it was very warm and the kids were complaining they were too hot loads! Looking like it will be quite warm again so want to be prepared.

I'm happy to wear a hoodie myself but worried about the kids getting wet / cold especially if it's a bit slushy. What would you advise?

They have a breathable, showerproof drill top as part of their uniform but they don't want to wear that because it's branded with school logo. Do you think a pac a Mac type thing would be sufficient? Don't want to spend a fortune!

We tend to just go T-shirt under jacket with no base layers when it's warm. Some jackets have vents in the arms too which can help. My too cool for school teen has skiied in a hoodie before but one fall and you're wet!

I think because their jackets are probably not the best quality they got really warm last year even with just a t shirt. It's so hard because all it take is for the sun to go in and then it can be bitter again!

Specific riding hoody’s, generally splash proof. Then bib pants over the top which cover bottom and bit of the top. We have thin, neoprene-like mitts but tend to ditch the gloves pretty quick.

We get the riding hoodies from burton as they are one of the only that go to toddler size but I’m sure DC/Roxy would have something in bigger kid size.

Just checked and can’t find any on DC but volcom do them depending on the size you need.
