Any views on the dolomites as a Xmas location?

I've been a couple of times over the Christmas period. Snow a bit risky but they have excellent snow making facilities in the Dolomites. We had a cracking week last year when most of France and Austria was rained out.

Dolomites is always good at any time of the season. They have amazing snowmaking mostly
