Insurance for Canada

First born is off to Canada over Christmas with his partner. Does anyone have any recommendations for an insurance company please? He is likely to go off piste.

Where in Canada, and what do you mean off piste? Back country skiing you need specialist kit, training and a guide. It's a whole different ball game to going off between the slopes in europe. Has he undertaken a back country course?

If you mean off piste between slopes, or the bowls, then for example, whistler doesn't have out of bounds. You can ski anything, it might be a cliff, but it's in bounds and therefore covered with standard winter ski insurance
