Am leaving on friday and can't find my skiing sunglasses - can anyone recommend a brand that's wraparound, loof good, do the job and don't cost a lot? Also is it worth waiting til we're in resort - choice and price - nothing left here in shops and am nowhere near snow and rock?

You can get Polaroids and trendier ones in resort or at airport.

Look around in the ski shops in the resort. But remember to consider the tint: grey are fine when it's bright and sunny, but in poor light, orange or yellow are much superior. You can get glasses with interchangeable lenses - I used to use those but eventually found it was too much hassle and now stick with an orangey lense whatever the conditions. [Unless it's really cold when I wear goggles instead.]

If you want a specific recommendation on lenses, then IIRC Oakley Persimmon are good - but pricey.
