Seefeld - any views?

We're thinking of Seefeld in Austria next year. Need somewhere with a town with some shops/cafes and nice walks for my parents as dad doesn't ski and mum won't ski much. My preteen son and I are intermediates but not speed demons so happy on blues rather than reds. Will both likely go to ski school.
Is Seefeld a good fit? Bit worried that the two main ski areas are far apart so is that a nuisance? Might we have different places to start/finish for ski school?
Any other suggestions welcome as we keep trying to find somewhere that suits us all but failing!

I love Seefeld as a place to visit, but I've only done CrossCountry skiing there, so cannot say how much of a faff the downhill is to access. It's a great place for non-skiiers, some good walking (though note, some of the summer walking trails become cross country ski trails in winter), a short train ride to Innsbruck, reasonable local bus service to get you out to other villages for other walking opportunities.

Seefeld is lovely and perfect for your parents. But I haven't been there since before the new slopes opened, so interested in what it's like now.

Thanks so much! I agree it sounds like it would be good for my parents - just don't want it to be too much of a faff to get to the slopes for DS and me!
