Off to Les Arcs on Saturday and have been anxiously watching the webcams since we booked it in February.

It's snowing beautifully now and 1950 looks like something from a postcard. I'm so excited!!

We are off to Trysil, Norway and I have it on good authority that the snow is good there too - not much forecast during this week but the stuff that is there should stick around

We arrive v v early at Bourg St Maurice on Saturday morning then have the transfer to Tignes in the snow 😬

I'm torn between being ridiculously excited and a bit scared that there will be too much snow and the lifts won't be open and also I'm not I can remember how to ski on fresh snow!

We're heading to PassoTonale on Saturday and the snow isn't looking great, this week's forecast dumps haven't materialised 😬

@JustAWeirdoWithNoName we arrived in Are in Sweden yesterday after flying into Trondheim and the snow is awesome, Trysil will be fab too ! Have fun xx

We're currently in Auxerre. 500 miles down today. Will do the remainder (338 miles) tomorrow. Did about 11 hours of travelling today, including the train. Hopefully, down to about 5 tomorrow.

Dreadful weather today! Signs all said 'Vent Violent' and they weren't wrong.

We are in Tignes now. The coach transfer up the mountain was pretty hairy. One car was on the wrong side of the road and had mounted the barrier between the road and the steep drop on the other side 😬

Unbelievably exhausted from getting the train overnight. Not sure I'll do that again. You get a bonus day skiing that you don't get if you fly but we are so knackered I'm not sure we'll actually ski today.

Sounds brilliant! We did Åre a few years ago and would love to go back! We're flying into Oslo this evening and can't bloody wait! 😁

@JustAWeirdoWithNoName please can you report back with your Trysil experience ! I love Scandinavian skiing, I think my body is currently in shock though, but we are loving it 👍

Made it to 1800 safely and now settled in with a cup of tea.

It was starting to snow as we arrived at 1845, but the road was clear of both snow and other cards, so it was a pleasant drive up.

@ILOVEALLCAKES conditions are amazing. It doesn't feel like spring skiing at all - there was no ice in the morning and no slush in the afternoon. Think more snow is forecast towards end of the week so will still be great next week. Enjoy!!
