My parents and I would like to go skiing next year, with hubby and kids-Just spoken to Mark warner and the want offered us france, La Plagne hotel Christina staying in a mini appartment.
total price incl flights transfer accom half board and all childcare is 6 grand.
Obviously a huge sum of money, but bit of a holiday to remember?
Tell me your Mark Warner related stories please to help me make up my mind. or any other companies that are good fr ski holidays with kids?

Hi,

Just got back from Mark Warner ski holiday. Had excellent time and planning to go again in April. The kids were really well looked after and all of the nannies seemed happy in their work. In fact one of my kids cried if she was not going to the kids club.. The childrens food was great and we had three course dinner every night. The hotel was fine. It was not a luxury hotel but we spent most of the time out of the room and we felt we were paying more for the excellent childcare.

We've just returned from a week in France with Ski Beat (3rd time we've been with them). They are very good, offer nanny service and travel by Eurostar as well.

Went on a Mark Warner to Val d'Isere years ago pre-children and wasn't very impressed with the food.

You should try crystal ski -
i worked as a nanny and then a mananger for them for 7 years in ski and summer resorts till recently,

They offer a great experience for the children and excellent creches and kids clubs, they are everywhere too!

hi
there is a lot of stories about mark warner most of them not good, i used www.skiingitaly.net last year and would recommend their services. the prices are very good and as for the childcare they organise it for you by booking local checked out companies, you pay the suppliers direct so there is no mark up. the apartment in paganella - italy we stayed in was fantastic and we will be going back to the same place this year. hope this helps.

BellyDancerJenny - on the off-chance you look at this thread again.....

Booking through skiingitaly (which looks really good btw)- did you make your own travel arrangements or was this done through the operator? Thanks.
