Hi. I'm looking for a high snowsure holiday for Feb 24 half term. Club med/neilson/Mark Warner are all crazy prices. Wondered if anyone had tips for catered options with kids lessons included that are along those lines but cheaper. Thanks

GAH typed long message and it disappeared.

If your kids are quite young you could look at Familotels or Kindeehotels. More Italy/Austria/Germany/Switz than France though.

If France, Chilly Powder, Family Ski Company, Snowbizz although they aren't in a super high mega resort. Esprit (although choose carefully based on reviews! Sometimes they charge a lot for quite poor accommodation IMHO) ....

Half term is always going to be spendy but I find France particularly bad. We are competing with the whole of Paris and large swathes of southern France for the same beds, that week.

Austria doesn't need to be high to be snow sure. The hotels that specifically cater for families are Kinderhotels - e.g. Ellmauhof in Hinterglemm.

You can DIY it for a decent price often but you need to get in quick for flights if you’re not driving
