I wasn't sure where to post this, but off to Scotland in a week and wondered whether skiing was an option. We're staying in between Glenshee and Glencoe.

If you follow Glenshee ski centre on social media they post daily updates on what’s open. Last time I looked only the man made slopes were open and the snow didn’t look great but I’m not a skier so no idea if that’s sufficient.

We're in Aviemore right now skiing! Not all runs are open but enough are and it's been brilliant today 🤩

Keep checking the webcams. Snow can often be gone in a matter of days if there is heavy rain. You can't always plan more than a few days ahead for skiing, but if it looks good the day before you're due to arrive then you should be OK.

Just met someone who came over from Glencoe and I think there's definitely more snow in the Cairngorm because they came from there to ski here. So I would recommend coming over to the Cairngorm mountain if there is no snow where you are.
