Anyone been with Travelski this season?

Thinking about booking the Travelski package (overnight train on way out, transfer, accommodation and lift pass). Has anyone done this this ski season?

Some reviews from last year talk of lack of organisation once you get off the train, lift passes unobtainable so can’t take advantage of the extra day, nowhere to get changed/ leave clothes and no reps to ask for help. My French is passable so that won’t be a barrier.

So I am wondering if Travelski have learned from mistakes last year. Would welcome experiences good or bad so far this season. And if anyone has travelled in the premium seats, did you sleep?

thanks in advance!

Following. I'm going but won't be able to give feedback until its too late because we aren't going until August. When we booked, it was a day train on the Saturday there and an overnight train back. But it's been switched around now.

We've already written off skiing on that first day because i doubt we'll get much sleep at all. We'll get our skis sorted and wander.

I'm a bit nervous tbh. Never got the train before. But we normally have to get a flight at 7ish. Which means getting up at 3am to get to airport etc. Then Tignes is a 4 hour hideous transfer from Grenoble so the first day is always tiring and a bit of a write off skiing wise. At least this way I'll be able to go to the toilet whenever I want!

@XelaM Aaaaargh. April not August!! Technically the glacier in Tignes is open over summer but that's more of a novelty than a ski holiday!!

Hah, I actually looked it up and discovered that you can, in fact, ski in France in August 😂 so I thought I was the one not "in the know"
