Argh! So last years feb half term ski break was plagued by teen covid testing. Will this year be scuppered by lift workers striking? I thought this might be a useful place to post and glean information as and when more becomes available.

From what I have read online, the strikes are likely to be concentrated in the ‘posher’ resorts, Courchevel Val D’Isere etc, where international events could be disrupted and maximum publicity gained.
Elsewhere, it is predicted that not all lifts will be affected simultaneously, a rolling programme. We are going to a non-posh resort and hope that the ski guides/instructors will know the best lifts to head for.
Otherwise all we can do is hope for the best! It won’t affect me personally I shall lounge around all day in our Club Med hotel eating and drinking. The rest of the family are keeping fingers crossed.

We are going to a non posh but busy resort too. The reports seem to massively vary, from the telegraph saying it will be a non event to the times saying it will be incredibly disruptive 🤷‍♀️. I guess it’s a case of rolling with the punches again.

Club med is pretty posh in itself 😉.
