some friends of ours have asked if we would like to go and stay with them in their ski chalet in Les Gets, France in a few weeks - would be great but don't think we could physically carry a travel cot and even a travel highchair with us without them using up a lot of the luggage allowance! Any ideas? Any companies that hire stuff?
or failing that, do any of you know anyone there who we could rent stuff from?! Long shot i know.. ta!
ps our ds will be 16 mo then

what about the samsonite pop up cots they are very light and something like a handysitt seat if you have to take one, or failing that travel cots are actually very cheap over here about 25 euros from supermarkets and the same for highchair or booster seats so you may be as well to get them over here or ask your friends to get them for you. Le clerc, Intermarche or Auchan usually have them cheap cat me if you like and I will let you know where is cheapest

i am about to use a childcare company in morzine (they also service les gets) and saw on their website that you can hire baby equipment from them too.

see www.cheekymonkeysmorzine.com/index.php?linkhdr=equipmenthire

good luck!
