Anyone know about childcare in Tigne?

We are going in March with a large group containing 3 children, age 1.5, 4 and 6. The elder 2 are mine DD6 has skied 3 times before but it is the first time for DS. Have only just realised that the company we are using has no nanny service and so we need to arrange our own childcare. Both DD and DS will go to ski school for a couple of hours ( actually would also like recommendations on those if you have any!!_) but will also need some sort of childcare for part of the day. What options are available, are there any to avoid and do you recommend any??

I have a house there and I would get in touch with "tignesytots " you can google them. the lady who runs it is super. you can put 3 year olds in marmottons .they are very sweet ! I am not aware of a creche ! I have lots of local knowledge if you need to know more !

Oh yes ski schools well there is evolution 2 who are better than esf. People speak very highly of BASS the british alpine ski school. Private lessons tiziana , a mum herself and amazing, at evolution2 or sarah at skiwithsarah.com and evo2 in le lac..I don't know the val claret teachers that much but do ask for a group with kids of the same age and english. I never used esf because they have big groups and lots of french kids.Mine complain bitterly about the french kids ! tignes.net has some web links. i always use gumtree.co.uk and put on there an ad and take someone with me but tignesy tots are v good.
Do go to the freme des capucines on the chalet night off book in advance .really authentic farmhouse with cows inside for the kids !

my kids used evolution 2 in tignes at age 4 and 6. They collected them from Val Claret (the top village), skied them down to the next village (le lac I think) where the ski school was (it was very late season, so the Val Claret one wasn't running). They then did ski school in the morning and they organised a lunch and video session for them until we collected at about 2pm ish when they either skied another hour or so with us or did something else. They were the only English children in their groups and it really didn't matter at all - the class sizes were tiny (about 5) and the only complaint we had from them was that the videos were in French. Overall I'd recommend them (was about 8 years ago though)
