Has anyone been?
Do you have to queue for ages at the one lift up from the village? Do you have good access to all the 4-Vallees slopes?

our ski accommodation somewhere else for February has fallen through. I've found something in Nendaz that would suit us..

I went there 15 years ago so memory slightly hazy.

But we had a great time.

It's not as convenient as being in Verbier but you aren't paying the prices.

To make the most of the whole area you need to be pretty competent skiers.

In Nendaz itself there were a few shops bars etc but it isn't massive if I recall. We don't care about that though all we do is ski nightlife not slightest bit important to us, usually too knackered

I've been put off before at looked like you needed an ungroomed black (and a T bar) to get back. Neither would be my choice in less than perfect conditions. I've known people bus up to Siviez from Nendaz and ski out of there. But that route gets very busy. Otherwise is a good way to do Verbier on a mid budget!

I've been a couple of times with mixed groups and we all enjoyed the slopes. There's a bit of a queue to get up in the mornings but certainly nothing out of the ordinary - we've always skied school hols. If I hadn't already skied it twice I'd be happy to go back. Iirc, it's a bit of a day out to ski to Verbier and back but totally doable.

Thank you all for your replies. We ended up going to Samnaun/Ischgl (staying on Samnaun side). It was fabulous.
