Ski jacket recommendations

Going to get myself a new ski jacket. Any recommendations? I want something fairly classy looking and plain as I currently have a hot pink Trespass one.
Essential is sleeve pocket for the pass and a snow skirt (I like that for just keeping the wind out, let alone snow). An internal pocket is helpful.
Open to buying new and also trawling ebay/Vinted/Depop for a second hand one.

Budget? How warm do you need?

I have the North Face Cirque Down ski jacket which I love. Not cheap but it’s flattering (for a ski coat!) and it’s really warm!

I am assuming "classy looking" means you want style and technical features (in that order) rather than the other way round?
Outnet and other sites have some bargains on Fusalp eg www.theoutnet.com/en-gb/shop/product/fusalp/activewear/skiwear/davai-ii-faux-fur-trimmed-quilted-hooded-ski-jacket/1647597292392064 which might fit the bill.

I like bonfire or protest, they seem to be longer as the back which keeps you warmer.

Budget. Up to about £125ish, but I like a bargain if I can get it (hence looking second hand too).

Technical features insofar as keeping me warm and dry are key, but I don't want to look like the Michelin man. Waterproof and Windproof mainly.

@pollina, that's just the sort of style I'm looking for. I'm not sure I can stomach £250 though.

I have a Berghaus Down one (pictured) that I love and wear daily. I'm just not convinced it's going to keep me warm enough, or is waterproof enough if I fall over in the snow.

Lots of the nice ones seem to be white. I can't be trusted with a white jacket.

Also This a bit more streamlined but not sure about the internal pocket

Baxdream · 21/11/2022 19:20

I have salopettes from ASOS that are lovely and so flattering! They have ski jackets too?

Baxdream · 21/11/2022 19:25

And 30% off at the moment (I think until 8pm)

Decathlon, normally excellent value for money and well designed

I've picked up good ski kit in TK Maxx before, it's worth looking there. They often have Spyder (or is it Spider?) and other decent brands.
Online, try browsing Sport Pursuit and Blue Tomato. Both of these sites operate as outlets and sell stuff designers/manufacturers have cleared from their stock.

RhubarbFairy · 05/12/2022 18:13

Thanks all.

I went for a Roxy one in the end. It had good reviews and I loved the look of it.

I did pop into TK Maxx and managed to find a Rossignol one for DS1 that was in their clearance section for £30, so I was very pleased with that. He does look like he's going to work on a building site in it though. It is florescent! But he likes it, so all good.
