Swapping Rila Hotel, Borovets, Bulgaria, for somewhere in Italy or France?

Last year I took the kids (5 and 6 years) to the Rila Hotel in Borovets Bulgaria for their first ski holiday and it was great - 1 hour from the airport, lovely swimming pool to use in the afternoon, ski gear hire on site, great kids club and the ski school met outside the hotel so I didn't have to walk for miles carrying the kids ski gear. It was amazing - I skied for 5 hours a day and had a massage every day and the kids had two ski lessons a day, lots of fun in the kids club and swam every afternoon.

Next year I'd like to go to Italy or France (mainly for the food). Can anyone recommend a hotel with a similar set up to Rila? Looking for a hotel in a resort:
-1 to 1.5 hour transfer from an airport (I can't drive at the moment due to a medical condition);
-with a swimming pool;
-with ski gear hire and ski school in the hotel or very,very near to the hotel;
-with a kids club.

I'm a lone parent and one of my children has ASD and ADHD so easy logistics are really important to me.

Take a look at companies such as Mark Warner, Club Med and my personal favorite, Ski Espirit - they all have childcare and linked ski classes for children. Their staff are british so no language barriers. There are other companies
I don't think any of them have pools but some of them do have spa areas with massage facilities. Food won't be haute cuisine, but perfectly fine and there's always lunchtime to try the local dishes.

The costs will be considerably more than Bulgaria - both in terms of accommodation, ski passes etc.

Sounds like you had a great experience in Bulgaria! France... you can find everything you're looking for, except the short transfer time... I'm afraid 1hr from the airport is really hard to find. Meribel and all the French resorts are lovely and so child friendly, but they're all a 3 hour transfer from Geneva realistically 😣

Lots of places in Austria will offer you the short transfer if you'd consider there instead?
