Which buggy to take?

Off skiing in a couple of weeks with our 7 month old and husband is making us fly rather than drive! Am really torn as to what buggy to take in terms of travel and also in terms of warmth at the other side.....should I take the Bugaboo which I'm sure will be warmer and perhaps better in terms of wheels, but might be trashed by the airline...or should I take the Maclaren for ease of travel, but not great perhaps warmth wise or wheel wise.......any thoughts please?x

Maclaren is pretty useless unless the streets are cleared. Could you rent a 3 wheeler locally (Bugaboos struggle in real snow too!) or use a backpack ?

I agree with LIZS, you need a big three wheeler or a backpack.....I have actually seen a pram with runners instead of wheels but I doubt you'll find one of the those. Might also be able to borrow a sledge with a special baby seat attached, basic wooden variety or one of these www.khw-geschwenda.de/snowbabydreamengl.htm. They are great, we used to have one for DS.
