i'm thinking of zermatt. i'd like to know if there are other resorts that pple recommend. have a 18month old so would like to be somewhere child friendly and with other non-ski stuff going on.
many thanks,

Zermatt would be ok , although stay somewhere family orientated as otherwise you might find yourselves confined to a hotel room if the weather is bad. Nicoletta has a good creche apparently so worth a look. Relatively easy to take a trip up the mountains to restaurants which in summer have play areas, not so sure winter but there is usually one near the nursery slopes somewhere.

Similarly I'd suggest Saas Fee, Wengen/Grindelwald or Engelberg from our experince but there are probably others in French part such as Villars.

Some family orientated hotels in Switzerland here. However they do subscribe to this list and are not part of a chain or verified as such.
