Feb half term not too busy?

Where? I’m assuming avoid France and anywhere Brits go. We went to Morzine this year which was great but even although it was (apparently) quieter than usual Avoriaz was still hellish. I just can’t ski when there are hundreds of people on the slopes!

So any tips? We’re stuck with half term for various reasons.

Thanks!

I think most well known places across Europe will be crowded.

Try Canada, Scandinavia , maybe Monterosa in Italy,

We went to Serre Chevalier for Feb half term - it's not hideously busy because not many Brits go there. Obviously French half term as well but just doesn't seem to get as busy as some of the more popular resorts.
You could also try Montgenevre as it's closer to Italy than France doesn't seem as busy, admittedly we went at Easter holidays but it was practically empty then.

I think Italy is much less busy

We've done Sauze d'Oulx in half term twice. The locals were all saying "it's soooooooooo busy" whilst we were looking around wondering where all the people were! It's all relative - busy there equates to pretty quiet in other places.

We've also done Kitzbuhel in half term - apart from a long-ish queue to get on the first gondola of the day (to be at the top in time for ski school, so peak time!) it was fine. Busy, but not manic, by any stretch.

We did Courmayer in Italy and it wasn’t that busy. I think we got lucky with the staggered half terms and it didn’t clash with some other European countries.

We go to Katschberg in Austria every feb half term and it’s never hugely busy. Maybe a 5 min queue for a lift at the very most, but usually just get straight on.
