BA/VeriFLY

Morning, flying to Geneva with BA from Heathrow on Friday morning. We have completed the VeriFLY form so are ready to travel. We have been advised we can check in on line tomorrow but understand we still have to join the VeriFLY bag drop queue which when we flew with BA in November, was extremely long and took almost an hour!

Has anyone done this recently and if so, how long did you have to queue for? Just trying to work out what time we need to arrive at the airport.

Friend did this recently and Q was about 20 minutes. Not like it's half term weekend. As an aside I personally would do all I could to avoid checking crucial bags with BA right now, have a google - they are in a total state and keep losing bags and cancelling flights (IT issues). At least keep your key items in carry on. Alternatively have a look at airportr who will check your bags in for you (but it shouldn't be required for non peak travel).
