Booking cancelled by PV but still charging?

Did anyone else have a ski apt booking auto cancelled by Pierre Vacancies in France when in lock down, on their booking system in January? I only paid E1 to ‘hold’ the booking. They auto applied the cancellation but are now sending me payment request emails. We’ve decided not to travel but every time I login my account the booking is cancelled… I guess I need to phone them to check but it’s an international number so was wondering has anyone else had this issue?

In case anyone has an issue they said I had two identical bookings with different ref numbers. I had kept a screen shot of my account taken in January where it clearly showed cancelled and one booking. I have spoken to them on the phone and the second booking has now been cancelled but it’s odd given this all appeared when France went into strict lock down then the second booking appeared when they lifted travel restrictions.
