Has anyone managed to get one of these signed by their GP? Particularly people in Scotland please.

If GPs won't do it does anyone know if a private GP will be able to and will be accepted in Austria?

In England and yes, cost £30 from our GP @Rainbowshit

Did you get the Austrian official form signed by them? Have you used it in Austria yet?

My 12 year Old's app is now showing a covid recovery qr code!! 🎉

Yes so is mine now. Never mind, it was £30 but we weren't to know they were going to launch the app for kids. He's just got his negative PCR result so we are good to go tomorrow.

Rainbowshit · 12/02/2022 09:11

We've spent £150 on a private GP for the Austrian certificate. 🤢

Interesting that you did the pcr test. I thought with a covid recovery certificate you wouldn't have to do that as it can show positive for 90 days?

Hope you all have a fantastic holiday!

Wow that's ludicrous for a flipping certificate!
DS had it end of October so is over the 90 days, and regardless Austria requires PCR for anyone over 12 (I think) who's not double + booster.

And thanks - it's been a long wait for a holiday!

Thunderpunt · 13/02/2022 10:38

Well, as ever the Austrians are the epitome of efficiency! Landed at 10.30, through passport control and then the Covid check, collected cases and out within 40 minutes.
They checked NHS app QR code for 1st jab and Recovery, and then the negative PCR result QR for DS.
All went swimmingly!

Rainbowshit · 19/02/2022 10:07

Hope you had a great time.

DD's pcr was negative which was a relief.

Setting off just now so keep your fingers crossed we've got everything we need. 😬

Hi - just to check, the NHS recovery QR code is sufficient for a 12 year old isn't it?? (Its not on the app but on the NHS site because can't get app for 12 year old). Bit confused as Austria website says the certificate needs to state date of recovery and the NHS pass doesn't do this.
Thank you!
