Anyone been to BANSKO Bulgaria

posted this a few months ago...but not sure that the ski season feeliing had kiced in ...booked to go first time at end of March with 4 kids (1-9yrs) bringing nanny for 1yr old...anyone been ?? any tips any good restaurants /hotels/activities/facilities other than skiing?

Hi, We've been to pamporvoro twice with our kids who were 6 and 8 the first time. The ski school is fab the snow the first year was amazing a bit icy the second but I would recommend bulgaria, food can sometimes be basic at hotels but edible. Pancakes and beer are marvolous!

I stayed there in the Kempinsky for a night at the beginning of the year. the hotel was fab and I thought it was a nice place. Pound for pound if I wanted to bring dc's skiing I would definitely go there.
