Try and get an apartment that you can ski right to the door. It is a big pfaff getting children to walk distances in ski boots and if they have to walk carrying their kit they lose it, the missing ski glove is a daily game! Make sure you take a pair of extra gloves per child and a spare hat and perhaps a spare set of goggles (very expensive on site). I know someone with a fantastic apartment in Bansko with pool, sauna, ski right to the door etc. CAT me if you are interested. I have never been to Bulgaria but they rave about it.

I'm sure it's different now, we went to Borovets 13 years ago but we asked in the hotel for more toilet roll and they said - no sorry not until tomorrow!!! Things must have improved by now
