Recommendations for ski companies for 3 families?

Hello

As a family we have always gone with MW. Our children are now 9 and 6 so no longer babies. We have teamed up with 2 other families who have slightly younger children but the youngest is now 5.
We went this year with MW. For next year we have looked at Neilsons, MW and Ski Esprit but they all seem quite expensive? Over £6k per family. This year we managed to get it for £5k for Xmas week including childcare, skis, ski lessons etc etc.
Does anyone have any other recommendations?
how about booking a catered appartment and a nanny? Or too much hassle?

We're a massive group. Last year 10 families and this year a couple more.

We always go with peak retreats and book apartments in the same complex. We all make our own way there. Some families fly, some drive via the euro tunnel and some take a ferry & drive.

We book lessons for the mornings and so the kids end up knowing a few other kids at least in their group. In the afternoons we tend to ski in groups with some parents supervising a group of kids on the 'fun' pistes, whilst others ski some other nearby runs and then swap over. Some might go back to the apartments for a swim with kids who've had enough skiing for the day.

One evening we book up a restaurant in advance and all eat out. The rest of the time we eat in apartments/one family cooks invites some of the others over etc. We drive so I take meals frozen so I don't have to cook while I'm there.

We always go the first week of the Easter holidays as it's less pricey.

I think if i was in that situation I would look at getting a nice big chalet sole use then hire a nanny to share between you. They could base themselves at your chalet and it would be really handy. I know Chatel, Meribel and Montgenevre have UK private nannies working there. Give me a shout if you want me to dig out some contacts.
Or you could try Ski Famille they do whole chalets with childcare and lessons which is really convenient.

Post your requirements on the chalets direct forum and you will get a lot of options then just sort your flights and transfers if required

I second Chalets Direct. Put in your dates and numbers and the chalets will get back to you with suitable offers.
