Two primary aged kids, non skiers. Could anyone recommend a friendly, very child friendly resort in Europe please where everything is close and easy and there will be things to do like tobogganing, skating etc thanks!

Saas fee. Traffic free, mountain for walking/sledding, ice rink, indoor pool, good atmosphere, ice grotto on the summit. Some hotels run activities for children.

We're going for the very first time in a couple of weeks but we've chosen the place based on a recommendation from a colleague who has been going with his children for 10 years.

We're going to Rauris in Austra. We're told it's a family and beginner friendly resort.

Are you planning to have the DC learn to ski?

Wengen in Switzerland. The nursery slopes are in the village centre, there are some runs you can access on the 🚞 train, which is easier than using chairlifts. There are toboggan runs and walking trails.

We loved Samoëns when ours were beginners. Very friendly resort.

If your kids are non skiers you could go for accommodation with a pool to keep them entertained. Montgenevre in France has some good skiing and apartments with pool that run their own kids club. There are plenty of other things for kids to do here too. I think the apartments are called Hameaux Des Airelles. Othe family friendly resorts in France I would say Avoriaz or Chatel and take a look at Vars maybe too.
Italy is great for kids as they always look after them and spoil them and the children are a big part of the hoiday so lots to entertain them.
