Pretty baselayers...

I fancy treating myself to some patterned base layers.... well a set. Has anyone seen any out there that aren't 50 quid each bit?!?! Just feel very self conscious in the plain types as every lump and bump shows and thought patterned may be more flattering?!

Uniqlo have some patterned Heattech turtleneck tops - think they're £12.90 each in the sale; no matching leggings though.

TeetotalKoala · 12/01/2020 18:13

I bought merino ones on Amazon for about a tenner apiece. They are children's ones though because I'm a short arse.

Tk Maxx had some lovely Odlo and Under armour ones recently.

Came to say Sweaty Betty ones before realising you don’t want to spend too much. They look amazing though!

I have a few baggy T-shirt’s I later on top of my base layers to hide the lumpy bits Blush

SB do really good reductions at the end of the ski season.

peoplepleaser1 · 13/01/2020 16:01

Oh wow those sweaty Betty ones are fabulous!

I can't justify it though especially as I wear a mid layer and often a sweater too- so base layers are hidden from sight.

separatebeds · 14/01/2020 21:20

Bawbags have some nice ones

pollyputthepastaon · 25/01/2020 08:27

@TailEndCharlie surely nobody sees the base layer tho? I wear a T-shirt over the top to hide lumps and bumps.

Sunshine1239 · 25/01/2020 10:01

I only wear baselayers - no fleece so understand where your coming from as I happily sit in the pub in mine right after the slopes!

I’ve got some superdry ones - average £30. I wear them with plain black leggings as they’re under my ski pants so not on show

I’ve got 4 sweaty Betty tops and they’re very warm but I bought in the sale for £25 each after last few xmasses. It’s tops you need more than pants

topshop do nice ones for £25 otherwise Tkmaxx

SatsumasRock · 25/01/2020 18:36

Following. I'm lusting after these but they are £80 for the set which is a lot. Especially since I never wear base leggings (we ski at Easter when it's not particularly cold)....

I bought some smartwool ones for a bargain somewhere.

Heattech extra warm is plain.

Surfdome have a winter sale ATM?

TailEndCharlie · 08/02/2020 16:29

I got some quite nice Roxy stuff and the Dope brand is lovely.... but sizes sell out quickly so have missed that for this season! will bolster amounts with some bog standard Decathlon stuff I think now as running out of time!
