Teen skis, we don't

We have a 14 y o who's been skiing once before and loved it. I'd like to take him again but we parents don't want to actually ski- we'd like to walk and maybe snowshoe or something. Is this feasible? How and where? Do we need a package or should we find a hotel ourselves and work it out from there? I'm a complete novice and all suggestions much welcomed.

Yes you can snow shoe every day most places will have organised group snow shoeing while he is in lessons with other teens.
Eg meribel
Or call a company like peak retreats or igluski who can suggest locations

Eg meribel esf you can book 5 days snow shoeing and separately ski school for your ds

(I did one session in meribel and it was great ..sone in the group were going every day)

Most places have decent ski school or guides for your teen. I would choose a town with character for non-skiers eg Kitzbuhel or Zell am See. You could also try cross country skiing whatever age.

Look at colletts, they do guided skiing and guided show shoeing. My DH and I went away with them, it was amazing, we were both very happy with our holiday. It's in the dolomites. With a novice skier I'd go to corvara.
