Anyone been skiing in Austria at Christmas?

I'm too late for the hotel of my dreams for Feb half term. The hotel does have availability at Christmas though.

Anyone been skiing in Austria at Christmas? Am I playing chicken with the level of snow for skiing? I am looking to go to Gargellen.

We have been to Obergurgl for Christmas...high altitude and had so much snow our flight couldn’t land and we had a white out day! We are going to Kaprun this Christmas - glacial options...I love Austria at Christmas - it feels very festive and a happy place to be! I’m a huge fan of Christmas skiing though...we’ve done Austria, Finland and Canada! 😊
