Best resort for veggie and vegan food options

Hey,

Im planning a ski trip for a group of (beginner) adults this winter - January/February. There are a few veggies/vegans in the group and I want somewhere with a few good meal options. Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m scared we are going to be living off chips for the week 😂 We will probably go self catering but want to be able to eat out a few nights. Thank you!

I'd say avoid France! My veggie friend always struggles when we go there. She basically survives on chips, bread and cheese! Even more limited for vegans.

Italy would be a better option as you've always got pasta, pizza and risotto to fall back on even if the cuisine tends to more Austrian influenced in some parts.

Hi Swiftier,
Have you looked in to club med options as there is a wide variety of food offered and as its all inclusive ski lessons and lift passes are included which will bring the overall price down.

Or look at Skiweekenders - they do full weeks as well. Run by a British company and if you stay in their aparthotel I'm sure offering vegetarian and vegan dinners no problem.

Thank you!
@massistar my initial instincts were to avoid France too, but someone else recommended Chamonix and it seems to be quite veggie friendly! I think it’s an anomaly though.

@katieviney and @rookiemere thanks will look both those, both sound promising!
