DIY options for Les Gets or Morzine

Currently spending a very average week with Esprit in Val D'Isere. Skiing, family time, weather etc great but very underwhelmed by the whole Esprit experience.

So, thinking ahead to next Feb half term. I would like to DIY it with a few recommendations. DC are 8 and 10 so a catered chalet will be fine and we can drop them off to lessons each day. I would also entertain the idea of SC in a village large enough to have more than one shop, and would happily cook pasta each night and spend the extra on 2:1 lessons for DC.

So, any recommendations for private chalets or accommodation in Les Gets/morzine. I'm sure I found a few chalet run by French families/couples a few years ago. Can anyone recommend any? We can arrange transfers. Easyjet flights are not yet out for next Feb.

One of the local ski schools here will do lesson + lunch so that obviates the need for that part of the Esprit offering.

Poorly child today, so I've been researching whilst stuck in the chalet.

Ski train also looks a good option although I don't think that would work for Les Gets.

Both of those resorts are very low and won’t have good snow this time of year so if you’re looking for spring skiing I recommend belle plange.
WE STAYED WITH SKI FAMILIE and chose them over esprit as heard esprit had declined some.
