La Plagne or Tignes for New Years

Hi

I am planning a skiing trip for family of 5, for New Years week. I looking at La Plagne or Tignes, has any been at this time, what were the lift queues like.

Or recommend some where else, that is a transfer from Geneva

Tignes every time. Queues are shite in La Plagne if it’s busy, the glacier is hard to access, there aren’t as many high spots.

Tignes is ugly to look at, fab to ski.
I’ve been to both 3 times each.

Tignes.
Not as pretty but the skiing area seems to have far less bottlenecks so less queuing.
