Via Lattea kids lift pass?

Hi, off to the Milky Way in half term and according to the website link below only under 8s get a discount on lift passes (except a Gold in Montgenevre, but we are not going there).
Am I missing something? Is there another ticket type that you need local knowledge to get? Or does my 8 year old pay the same as me? If that's the case we will deal with it but it is very unusual in my experience.
Any tips most welcome. Thanks

If you are going to Claviere you can get the montiluna lift pass that includes Claviere and Montgenevre and there is a cheaper rate for under 15s.

If you are going to sestriere or sauze I agree it is not clear what older children pay. However I would be very surprised if it was the full adult rate. I would email the lift pass office to check.
We usually ski in France and most resorts offer family lift passes or the option of buying individual passes with a cheaper rate for under 14s.

Thanks Mocha. I agree it is unusual. Ski school have said children have to have an adult pass but that just seems wrong, especially as there is an under 15 rate for part of the area. Will try the list pass office and maybe enlist an Italian speaking friend. There's snow forecast which is good as it hasn't been great so far in that area .
If anyone else can help please do. Anyone else heading there for half term?
