Tignes - in the summer - what to do for kids!

Our family is off to Tignes for a week’s break at the start of August. The kids are between 5-8 years old.

Could anyone make a few suggestions to help me plan out the week??

Packing?

Kids activities?

Ski? I understand we might be able to ski if we’re up at the crack of dawn! Any contacts for summer lessons? Ski stuff hire?

Restaurants? Should I book?

Thanks!

It’s a few years since we went but the tignes pass gave you lots of free activities looks like it is now called my tignes open pass www.seetignes.com/summer-passes/
There is an indoor pool with a few slides
Cycle around the lake
Take a chair lift up the mountain and walk down. Walk down from back of lavachet past the waterfalls to lac du Chevral
Eating out you shouldn’t need to book
You used to be able to get a mountain bikers meal deal in the centre of town from a kiosk that was a slice of pizza pancake and soft drink which was popular with my kids.
Beware tignes lake is freezing and you have to wear wetsuits.
Have fun
