Cervinia? Ski school recommendations?

We’re looking to do a self catering chalet with our three young children ages 3-5 over the Feb half term. I’m liking the look of Cervinia as it seems good for covering lots of terrain on cruisey blues and the occasional red, which is what we like. Any experience/recommendations? Ski school options? Where is a good place to look for a chalet or apartment that’s well connected and close to a good ski school that will take a 3 year old?

I've used this ski school quite a few times.

And this is probably you're best bet for a chalet

When is the Feb half term 2019 in the UK? If it falls on the same week as our Carnavale I'd get booking now as it's peak season at the ski resorts

We actually live in Luxembourg and yes it’s carnivale week! 🙈 Feb 16-23. I’ve found something that will work but will give your recommendation a look!

Is Valtourneche a good place to base out of to save a bit on accommodation?

Valtourneche is only about 10 minutes from Cervino so if you're driving down from Luxemburg it'd be a great base. (Just remember your snow chains are obligatory here in winter )

Great, thanks! Just looking at the ski school, it looks like group lessons start from age 5.... would they do private lessons from a younger age? Or is there somewhere like a ski crèche where the youngest could ski a bit but also do some snow play or other indoor activities?

Just seen this - have a look at Airbnb- we've used it both times we've been to Cervinia.

We used Scuola Di Sci Breuil both times for private lessons (have 3 children and worked out about the same as ski school) and would recommend www.scuoladiscibreuil.com
