Footwear

Possibly a stupid question...first time ski holiday. Staying in a hotel which I think is half way up the mountain, away from main resort. What footwear do I take??

I would take a pair of snow boots for outside, and a pair of slippers for indoors - you'll often find that the floors are wet where people take off their ski boots, and it's more pleasant to have slippers than soggy socks. Usually I just travel in snow boots - you might want to take trainers for the journey, but beware that if you need to take luggage to and from the hotel, you might be grateful for the snowboots as soon as you arrive.
