Help - ski kit for a chunkier boy

I’m trying to buy kit for DS12 who is going on his first ski trip. He’s 12 but chunky - he’s built like rugby player DH and so all the age 13-14 salopettes we’ve been trying on are too small for his hips and tummy. XS men’s are too long (he’s 5ft5).
Does anyone have suggestions of ski brands that are generously cut? Thanks in advance

Try cmp salopettes. They fit my stocky 11 year old. We tried on so many pairs last year!

Thanks caper, I’ve ordered some to try.

Ds has North Face ones (I think they're expensive but ours were £10 second hand Grin) I can't remember if they are xl or l boys.

I bought age 15/16 from goOutdoors for ds.
Another tip is to try snow boarding trousers as they're a baggier fit (ds has huge thighs)
I'm surprised men's are too long at 5'5, don't forget they can scrunch up a bit over the boot.
