Tignes les Brevieres - advice

Hiya,
Can anyone tell me what the skiing is like here - can you link up to Val Disere? I’m a beginner.
We are taking the children (age 6) and are looking for childcare / ski lessons so we can have some time on our own.
The place looks pretty cut off but I’m hoping you can get a bus to other villages?
All info and advice welcome x

Yes, but it's quite a distance for a beginner. The skiing is fab all around Tignes, it might get a bit slushy to your resort level depending on when you go, but it should be fine.

The whole thing can be reached by taking lifts, no need for a bus unless you really want to start from a specific spot.

Evo2 is the local ski school

Thanks, love the name!
Do you know if there’s childcare there as well as ski school? X

T4 Nannies were amazing, but clearly have some T&C's, but depends when you're going can be flexible for half days. There is also a crèche in the main town, but French speaking I think.

You might be able to add lunch on to ski school - I get a bit confused which year we did what now, but think it was an option.

There is also a British ski school, but we didn't use them, I expect a good google would uncover them.

I like a bit of irony and I'm pretty bad tempered Grin

Not yet but I’m going there in 3 weeks so will let you know! We’ve booked lessons with Evolution 2. No childcare though as all the kids in our group are at least 8/9 and no beginners.

You can although it is a long way and piste H/Henri and edelweiss between Val and Tignes are a total slushfest - that said I have been later in season so may be fine for you!
Awesome ski area so have a great time.
