Skiing after bunion op

Has anyone got any top tips after bunion surgery with regards to ski boots?
I had the op done in October and my foot isn't totally comfy now although I was super-obedient during the subsequent weeks of recovery. I have not managed to wear heels at all yet and after cycling I get some aches too. The surgeon thought I would be ok to both ski and cycle.
Supportive insoles or a new boot liner?
I can't bear to think that I won't be able to ski this year.

I reckon a moulded boot liner would be your best bet. Not based any any experience though.
