Just seen an ad in the paper that they are selling tomorrow - anyone tried it? I’m specifically thinking of the base layer as this is what we need

Had Lidl stiff in the past, but the shop moved so not recently, but do have Aldi nearby. Their ski gear is excellent and good value. I like the ''compression' base layer bottoms.

I’ve tended to find Aldi better quality for cycling kit than Lidls but thermal vests I’ve had from lidls have been fine as have the kids moon ski boots.

Ok for moon boots, socks etc but have found the other stuff not warm enough so depends on where you’re skiing

The merino in aldi is AMAZING value and very good quality. Pure merino in a fine knit, no polyester.
