Hi,
What do I need to take to pack?
I will not be skiing, but I want to make sure I will be warm enough.
Anyone else who has been do you wear salopettes in the day even if your not skiing?

TIA

Yes wearing full on ski gear despite not skiing is the most sensible way to stay warm enough. And look good Wink. Enjoy!!

Yes - full on ski gear as it will still be cold and given current conditions, snowy, so you will need all the thermal protection it gives you. Means you can also go sledging/bum boarding if you want.

Snow boots, not wellingtons (unless you have thermal liners for your wellies).

Yaktrax, or similar, to help you walk across the snow/pavements before they have been cleared.

Lip salve and hankies

Enjoy.

Book a snow shoeing walk.. no experience needed just ability to walk. Guides tell you local history etc.
Esf and others do them.

Oh and yes wear full snow gear trousers jacket etc
