Anyone been to Ardent or Rebertey early season?

Looking at going first week of the season (December 16th) and wondering what the chances of snow are. I know it's not high but have read that because it's in a valley it tends to have decent snow but has anyone been?

Looking at booking with the Family ski company.

Ardent is in a shady valley and only 1 bubble and 1 chair up to Avoriaz from where you can get high very easily.
It's a risk, especially looking back at the lack of early season snow in the past few years.
