Val Thorens hotels

Heading to Val Thorens for the first time mid December and can't decide between the Koh-I Nor, Altapura and the Pashmina hotels. Trip Advisor and Booking.com reviews are very evenly matched and they are all exactly the same price. Has anyone stayed in any of them? (and please tell me Val Thorens is great for a nervy but competent red run skier)

I reviewed all these when we were going. I'm sure one of them had a really badly placed boot room on the 'wrong' side of the hotel so was a pain with kids. I'm afraid I can't remember which though, sorry.

Val Thorens is a purpose build resort, pretty much covers every ski ability so wouldn't worry in that area! A lot of hotels are ski to door, which is so good! We stayed in the Village Montana apartments which had direct access to the nursery slopes
