Has anyone been to Passo Tonale the first week of April?
Could you still ski into resort?
We are looking at Grand Hotel Paradiso. We'll have our 5 yo with us so looking for somewhere with minimum walking to lifts/pistes and family friendly.

We're looking at Passo Tonale at Easter too. Travel agent highly recommends it and confirms season is getting later in recent years (which we have experienced in French Alps last 2 years) but would be very interested to hear the specifics from someone experienced who isn't trying to sell us a holiday!

We went over Easter a couple of years ago. We skiied from 27 March till 01 April and there was plenty of snow. But owing to spring conditions and the slopes being mainly south-facing, it was like skiing in porridge in the afternoons by the end of that week. The resort was then only open 1 further week and I felt a bit sorry for those peeps because the snow was starting to melt off.
