Over the past few years we've been enjoying our skiing at Christmas at Chilly Powder (catered chalet in avoriaz). But christmas skiing has not been great for the past 3 years. Avoriaz try very hard and make artificial snow but i would like to find another, higher altitude resort, to get better snow.
Does anyone have recommendations of catered chalets or small hotels of similar quality to chilly powder but in another ski resort? Perhaps Austria or higher mountains in France, or else?
