Self-catering in Zermatt - help please!!

Hello all - has anyone self-catered in Zermatt, and if so, where is the best place to food shop? I imagine that "down the mountain" (Tasch?) is cheaper, but is there a decent sized supermarket there?
Any help really appreciated. We're off tomorrow, taking the nearly-9-month-old (beginning to feel like we are mad)...

Sorry, not done SC in Zermatt, but I'm sure there must be reasonable supermarkets there which don't require you to take the train (no other option!) down to Tasch.
Indeed, a quick google on "zermatt supermarket" shows few options: most recommended seems to be the CoOp. There's also Migros (we've used these elsewhere) and PAM's(?).
