Where do you buy good second hand skiis?

I like modern skiis that have a short turning radius. eBay seems to only have skiis from pre 1980 so where is the best place to buy them!

I'm surprised you haven't seen anything on ebay. That's where DH and I got our skis from. Mine are from 2014 so not 1980s...

I would hire for this year so that you can try the skis out.
Explain to the hire shop that you are looking to buy and they will probably rent you last year's skis for the week then you can usually buy at the end of the week for a second hand price (they also will take off the charge for the hire for the week.)
