Am I mad? A 16 month old, my parents, DH and me in a hotel half board for a week. Will Baby T like the food? Will I?! I don't even think its particularly child friendly....it may have a cot it may not...am starting to stress...

More importantly will there be any snow ?! We took ds to Austria just before one (skiing -us not him) and at 15 months(summer) and it was fine although harder work to occupy him in snow. However if you don't want him to live on bread rolls, chips and ice cream all week you may have to go to the pharmacy for some toddler Hipp Jars ! Ask at the outset for his food to be served asap otherwise you'll get your soup and salad and he'll have to wait.

Cheers glittermonster..am quite stressed as just found out DH has booked hotel that doesn't do children's teas...poor baby will have to adjust to a late evening meal or we will have to take him somewhere and feed him earlier...am v cross! Surely when they see him they will melt and do whatever it takes to make him happy (I want a happy holiday despearately!!!)

Smirkingathome · 25/03/2007 23:03

I am back...and I am glad to be home at last.
They didn't melt. They charged us 1.80 euro for a bottle of warm milk each evening for him.
Hotel full of cigarette smoke which even got into our rooms. Hotel owners the worst, even smoking in the dining room.
Thank you First Choice.
