Bip & Go

A friend of mine has loaned me his Bip and Go for my drive to France. He told me I would need to drive through the the 'T' marked lanes to activate it, the pen any lane would scan it thereafter.

It was late, I was knackered and I had a thousand lists whirring in my head. Can Bip users please reassure me that this is what I need to do? I am used to paying on the Péage so am not sure what I have to do for this.

I've used one for 3 years and I only drive through the lanes with a T, don't think that it works in the cash/card lanes. They always have longer queues anyway.

We only ever use the T lane. Just drive up slowly, it beeps and the barrier goes up. Are you sure it is transferable?
