Les Gets - find me an apartment or hotel - aargh!

Hello....I am looking for a hotel or apartment which is close to the Chavannes lift. I found the perfect one, (at approx £2000 for 4 of us half board) but 'D'H thinks it is too expensive and I think wants to self cater....aaargh. Does anyone have any brilliant ideas or recommendations? I don't want a huge walk with all our kit, but maybe I'm just wanting too much!???!!

We went with them last year to Morillon, they were very good.

Chalets Direct or try directly on the official tourist site, worked for me last year.

Be careful when you're pricing things up as French apartments have lots of extras such as paying for bedding, towels and cleaning.
